Precipice The Literary Anthology of Write on Edge Book 1 edition by Write on Edge Angela Amman Cameron D Garriepy Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This book has a great variety of well written essays. It is a nice read for when you have a short break.
"Precipice" is an excellent collection of stories and memoirs by up and coming writers. There is a great variety of talented voices in this volume.
Nice anthology of beginning authors 1st publications. Required purchase on recommendation of our daughter -- one of the authors. Will be autographed.
I particularly enjoyed "Sticky's Cake" and escape. They were well written, the characters were likeable and well developed, and the story line kept my interest. I had previously read and enjoyed an earlier short story about "Sticky" written by the same author in another publication. I enjoyed the fiction section more than the non fiction. The subject matter of some of the non fiction was not something I personally find entertaining. I appreciate Write On Edge as it gives aspiring writers a forum to present their work and it gives avid readers such as myself an opportunity to enjoy their efforts.
I whipped right through this book. Anthologies can be difficult to have cohesive and quality writing throughout, but this one did. Everything was really well written. I highly recommend it!
I blew through this in one evening and enjoyed every page. I devoured it like a delicious dessert. Short essays in easily digestible bites, each one as tantalizing as the next/last. A selection of very talented writers, various subjects, and intriguing stories. Left me wanting more, and feeling sad when I got to the end. In particular I enjoyed the stories by Angie Kinghorn, Kelly Kohles, and Julie Gardner. But I fell in love with each and every tale. Yearned for more, didn't want to get to the last page. This anthology would make a great gift for the bookworm or writer in your life!
